Gorge on, slant towards

Hi,

1) Can ‘gorge on’ be used instead of ‘stuff with’?

“He’s gorging himself on/stuffing himself with chips.”

2) Can I use ‘slant towards’ someone in this example?

“He slanted towards me (almost like ‘lean’) and then bumped into me as he was getting on the bus.”

3)”She veered off her path and ran into me.” Is ‘veer off’ appropriate here?

Thank you.
