In AmE at least, 'on' works with some nouns: Good luck on your exam.

In BrE it can work with certain nouns, such as "good luck on your journey", or "good luck on your birthday", but not with either "endeavours" or "exam", at least not in my parlance.

Yes, I was going to ask about that.

So with these nouns that "on" works with, "with" would also work. Am I right?

It is possible to say "good luck with your exam".

"Good luck with your birthday" sounds a bit unusual, or at least different from "Good luck on your birthday". It may suggest that an event is planned that may cause difficulties, for example. I see less difference in "Good luck on/with your journey", but still they do
