Google Dictionary Vs. Google Translate

It is a big blunder on Google's part to cancel Google Dictionary. (I have so much trouble finding an alternate site for detailed reliable dictionary online)

Google dictionary runs extremely fast without stupid ads and now I have to suffer slow loading time when checking vocabulary. Google spokesman said that google translate have similar functions....yeah right!! Google translate s*ck like no other. 80% of completely bogus signs for international travelers are due to google translate (however, they do provide some great laughs).

Any good recommedations on English to English and English to Chinese dictionary sites? (I've tried yahoo and wikitionary, they run too slowly and simply cannot compare to google dictionary)

Hi Holyduke,

Have you tried (for an English-English dictionary):

/ or http://oxforddictionaries.com/ ?
