Why Good but not Well. It is more logically as for me to use adverb here not adjective.

Here are some other examples:

I'm sick
It's fantastic.

But what does it meen "I am good" like "I am good boy/man"
Can I say I am well in meening I'm feeling well.

There is an adjective "well", meaning "in good health".

eg How are you? Quite well, thanks.

However, note that this adjective is only used to talk about health and it's not common before a noun.

Broadly speaking, both are correct.

I also insist that I'm good is a grammatically correct response. The verb am is a linking verb. Good is a

predicate adjective in this case. Even strict grammar rules say we can use adjectives after linking verbs, right?
