Good work!

Is it correct to use the phrase "good work" as a wish, meaning that you want someone to do a good job or to have success at something they're about to do?

"Good luck and good work, guys!"

Thanks in advance!

Top answer

No, that wouldn't be natural. Good work can be used to praise someone for something they have done, however.

It would depend on the circumstances, but you could say something like:
Good luck and every success.
Good luck. Hope it works out.
Good luck. Hope it goes well.
Good luck. Hope it goes according to plan.

You could include I before hope, you could follow it with all, or you could replace
