Good vs Well

The happy music made me feel (good / well) inside.

The band players looked (good / well) in their uniform.

I am questioning my son's fifth grade teacher here. Before I approach the principal, I would like to confirm what I believe to be the correct answer.

Well is an adverb, used to describe how something is done. The band looked good in their new uniforms and played well.

[Don't go too strongly with the complaint...it is a mistake that many educated people make, mostly because they are making a special effort to be correct (however, an English teacher should certainly know the difference).]
