Good night
Hi
I need to know when exactly one could say "Good night". I've heard one is supposed to uses the phrase only when another person is going to bed, not sure though. How about these contexts?
I'm chatting with a friend in the living room, I am about to go to my room(probably go sleep!), it's about 10 PM or sth while she's still sitting there. Could I say good night?
I'm at a night club with a buddy, we take off and go to subway station. We have to separate as we live at different places. Could I say good night?
If i couldn't what could I say? "Have a good night" or "Have a nice night" or what?
