Good Job!

I think you can say "Good job" to your friends or your juniors. Is it OK to say "Good Job!" to your boss, when you want to praise them, meaning " you're amazing!" or "your work is great" etc?

I wouldn't. It does not sound right. Try 'Congratulations, sir!'
