good husband

Hi,

I am just wondering about the word used for "good husband" for his family.

How do you say in English? For example, in English, if a certain man is so kind and nice, I think you call him Gentleman. By the way, do you call such a woman(nice and kind) Lady?

Thanks in advance.

Regarding one's family relationship, I use 'he's a good husband (and/or) father' or 'she's a good wife (and/or) mother. For outside relationships (with friends, acquaintances, strangers), I use 'he's a gentleman' or 'she's a lady'.
