Good dictionary

Hi.

I want to know about good dictionaries I can use.

I was very surprised to find that my dictionaries(Ocford Advanced Learner's Dictionary and Longman Dictionary of contem porary English 5th Edition) don't have the words below:

ecdysis

saphead

can only ... so: You can only keep your secret for so long.

'pon

I don't need so many technical words or slangs and I know there are a lot of good online dictionaries(I indeed found the definitions of the words given above on the web), but I need a book-type one.

Could anybody please suggest me which dictionary to choose?

Hi, My dictionary doesn't have those words, and I don't know them. I guess I have lived my life so far without encountering them. I certainly am not going to rush out and buy a new dictionary.

Hi,

My dictionary doesn't have those words, and I don't know them. I guess I have lived my life so far without encountering them.

I certainly am not going to rush out and buy a new dictionary.
