It is undeniable that early childhood has a significant impact on shaping the future of every child. First and foremost, it is during this period that the formation of cognitive and intellectual abilities kicks into high gear. Hence, kids are highly responsive to changes that occur through interactions with people and their surroundings. If given adequate nutrients as well as homeschooling by parents or caregivers; they would stand more chance to perform well in an academic environment. Another factor worth taking into account is that the formative years are very crucial for a linguistic establishment. Therefore, parents should take active roles in day-to-day conversations with the little one in order to strengthen his or her communication skills.

However, advocates of the notion that teenage years are beneficial for the development of the youth also have sound reasons. Throughout this stage of life, children are capable of learning more abstract and advanced skills, especially when they attend public schools. As a result, by studying academic subjects such as Math, Science, Literature and Language, young students would gain deeper knowledge and this might give them the edge when they enter the workforce. In addition to this, schools are community abounding in friends and like-minded peers, which helps youngsters to become more sociable and confident. Without this favourable environment, children might find it hard to fit in in a professional world when they get older.
