good and bad manners

Good afternoon, I have been told that it is rude to give two kisses to the person we know. Where I live, in Spain, we usually do it and it is not a bad gesture. Is it more correct to shake hands or a single kiss on the face as a presentation? I would appreciate your cooperation. regards

I suggest that you do not kiss any acquaintances unless you already have a close relationship.

In The Netherlands, it is three kisses on alternating cheeks.
In the US, we do not kiss as a greeting, unless the person is a very close relative (your grandmother, your wife or husband, your child)
