Good

Hello teachers!

Somtimes, during a phone call , the distant party ask me "what is your good name?"

I simply tell my name.

What is meaning of "good name" here?

Thanks.

This appears to be a variety of English with which I am not familiar, Hanuman. 'Good' appears to be an honorific, carrying no meaning in itself but showing respect for the listener and his/her name.
