Going to or will?

Hi, in the following context should I use "going to" or "will"?

I cannot drink coffee after 8pm. Whenever I drink it after 8, I am going to/ will sleep real late.

You are stating a fact. Whenever denotes that you sleep late at any time that you drink coffee after 8 p.m.
You should, then, use the simple present.
Whenever I drink coffee after 8 p.m., I go to sleep late.
