Going to future

Hi there!

When I want to talk about two planned activities do I have to use two times "going to"? E. g. which of the following sentences is correct?

1. I'm going to visit my mom and we are going to to the movies.

2. I'm going to visit my mom and we go to the movies.

Thank you for your help!

1. I'm going to visit my mom and we are going to go to the movies.

2. I'm going to visit my mom and we go to the movies. Incorrect.

If the subject is the same, you can say

eg I am going to visit my Mom and go to the movies.

This tells us that you are going to go to the movies, but does not include your Mom.
