Sharing out apples among a number of kids, going to each in turn:
One for you, one for you, one for you... and one for you.

Handing out apples to one kid:
One for breakfast and another for lunch. ... I'm not sure about that when I see it written down... I think I would say:
One for breakfast and one for lunch.

Could you explain to me what is "going to each in turn"?
