Going to do/ be doing

Hi, teachers:

A sentence:

I’m really going to tell him what I think of him.

I think we can say it to express our determination like

I’m really telling him what I think of him.

But somebody says it does not work when we express our emphasis on intention.

Am I making a mistake?

I would say thank-you if you kindly helped me.

I have to admit that the inclusion of "really" in the second sentence seems unidiomatic to my ear. I think "somebody" is probably right. ) CJ
