I would like to ask about the construction 'going to'. Is it ok to use it with a precise time expression, for example an hour: I am going to meet Alex at 4 p.m. I am going to meet Alex at 4 p.m. We have already reserved a table in a restaurant.
Is it OK to use this construction instead of the Present Continuous (I'm meeting...)? I think it is correct, it indicates, though, that there is a slight chance that the meeting won't take place.
Thank you for your help.
