Would you say it is natural to say 'Everything is going wrong today. Not one thing is going right. '?

Everything is going wrong today. Not one thing is going right. I lose my keys. I miss the bus. I forget my homework.

In the sentence, "Everything is going wrong today. Not one thing is going right. I lose my keys. I miss the bus. I forget my homework.", the events 'losing the keys', 'missing the bus', and 'forgetting my homework', have already happened/taken place, haven't they?
