Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the UN, said on Monday that the Trump administration was “concerned about the relationship between India and Pakistan” and “very much wants to see how we de-escalate any sort of conflict going forward” (The Guardian.)

Is "going forward" an adverbial modifying verb "de-escalate" or is it predicate in non-finite clause "any sort of conflict going forward" in the above?
