Is the right word to use?

I had few questions, it seems when using 'going by' the clauses, sentence fragments don't concur. does that mean anything?

1. If you go by the stats than this team should easily win the game.
2. Going by the stats , this team should easily win the game.
3. If the stats are any indictation, this team should easily win this game.
