Going

My friends and I are having dinner and chatting about an upcoming wedding.

His parents are gonna be at the wedding and they're flying in from another city.

My friend says: "Yeah! My parents are going/coming to the wedding too!"

Which one is correct or are both useable?

Thanks.

Shouldn't it be 'going to the wedding too', since we're all having dinner without his parents and they're

What about: My friends and I are planning a trip to Utah and some of them haven't decided if they're going or not.

I say, "Are Devon and Anita coming/going with us?

Or

"Are they going/coming to Utah with us?"

I assumed from '...they're flying in from another city' that the wedding was to take place in the city where you dining. In that case they would be coming.
