God Consciousness
Who am I ? Knowing thy self is the only path to bliss, joy & salvation
He rode along alone
In the vast sands of time
Through the rough terrain
Through the staggering mayhem
O mind why would you not be mine
Why cant I control you all the time
How can I go above to the mystic worlds
When would I reach the cloud number nine
O lord show me the path
Give me power give me the vigour
Let me rejoice and live in peace
Let me sail into the land of bliss
And then God showed the way
Meditation and spirituality needless to say
All negativities splintered away
Divine wisdom, ecstasy and bliss everyday

Wouldn't you say it is about control and how the poet wants *** to show him the way?

Yes..In the first half he wants *** to show him the way. Somewhere in between *** obviously did. Perhaps he would have been in a deep meditative trance when he attained enlightenment.

Certainly not ***...May be the poet or the poet's assossiate....or may be Gautama Buddha..any enlightend person.Not me though
