Hello ![]()
Can I say in English: "I will go toward you", when I talk to a person?
What I mean to say is that I will help him, for example, if he needs to pay and he doesn't have enough money, so can I say: "I will go toward you" and then I will make a discount? Or if he didn't learn for an exam because he had good reasons, and I'm his teacher, can I say: "I will go toward you with the grade"?
Otherwise is there any appropriate expression?
Thanks for helping :-)

What I mean to say is that I will help him No, that doesn't work. Try: I'll give you a helping hand with the price/your grade.

When expressing a willingness to compromise you could say "I'll meet you halfway."
