Go to plan

Could you tell me what the correct way is of saying these please?

Things never go to plan weddings. The bride and groom planned the dinner at 8 it always happens later.

The bride and groom are never able to stick to the timetable.

We are 30 minutes late compared to the timetable. The dinner was supposed to start at 7:30 and it's 8pm.

Thank you
