I have trouble using the right verbs to go with "dinner". I am going to make up a few sentences below.
(1) I am going to the dinner right now.
(2) I am going out for dinner right now.
(3) I won't join the dinner next week.
(4) I won't join in for the dinner next week.
I understand that the sentences have different meanings.
Do they make sense grammatically?
Thank you for your help.
