"go to a post office, go to a theater, go to a police office"
Is it okay to say, "go to a post office, go to a theater, go to a police office" ,etc in some contexts?
ex) I went to a theater in the city, but it was not good. (There are many theaters we can go to but the listener does not know, so I think that using a theater is okay.
ex) I am going to go to a post office among several ones in the country.
What do you think? And I am sorry about the lame examples. I hope to make my questions clear and hear from you again.
Thank you so much in advance.
