Go through

Is this sentence correct:

"I went to a Martial Arts class, but I got exhausted so soon that I couldn't go through the rest of the class."

Note: By 'go through the rest of the class', I mean that I couldn't remain active until the rest of the class.

You need "couldn't" (or "didn't") "get through the rest ...".

I got exhausted so soon that I couldn't get through the whole class.
