"go out" instead of "get off"?

When on the bus I can ask the question: "Where do I have to get off?"
But can I also say: "Where do I have to go out?"

Top answer

We normally get off means of transportation, but there are some exceptions. Out of: a car, a helicopter, a canoe, a rowboat.

Note that the choice is "get off" or "get out". "go out" is always wrong in this context.
