Go out and play soccer or not

Hi. Please tell me if what I say is correct or not. I think the part "Let's go out and play" in no. 1 is most likely to be interpreted as meaning what it says literally and not to be meaning "go out and play soccer," whereas the parts "Let me try to explain" and "Let's go out and eat" mean "Let me try to explain it" and "Let's go out and eat lunch" respectively. Thank you in advance for your help.

2.
