Hello everyone.
I have a question regarding a grammar question for learners.
Question: Choose the right one to fill in the blank in the following sentence --
Please tell me when you [ go / will go ] abroad.
In fact, the correct answer given by the questioner is "will go." I think this is possible if the speaker wants to say "Please tell me the exact date when you will leave for a foreign country." But I guess "go" is also possible if the speaker means to say "If you should go abroad someday in the future, please notify me when you set off." What do you think?
" Right. "Please tell me when you will go abroad" is not a very natural sentence to my ear, albeit not impossible. It is quite a poor question, in my opinion.
