I think it is. There are many ¨go-gerund expressions¨ - go fishing, go swimming, go skiing...I am far from being an expert though, so I might be wrong.

If it's a question... yes, but only rarely. You would say "Are we going fishing tomorrow?" for most situations. "We're going fishing tomorrow?" would be a statement of shock.
