Go curl up with Polly

Zinkoff wants only one thing in this world, to turn around, take one step up, turn out the light, reenter the kitchen, close the door, and go curl up with Polly (his baby daughter.)

Hi,

Does "go curl up with Polly" in the above equal "go sleep with Polly?" What does it imply besides sleeping with Polly? Thanks.
