Go by or rely on

If your phones battery is messed up and your phone turns off randomly, how would you say?

We can't go by/rely on the batteries percentage on the phone. Itbsometimes shuts off at 8% sometimes at 15%. You really don't know how much time you have left before it turns off.

thanks
