1)Can I say - go boxing or only do / practise boxing?

2) What words can I use with figure skating?

To go boxing and to go figure skating are possible, but not very idiomatic - not to my ear anyway.

You might get a better idea of the use of "go + ing" at this link:

You'd say, "I'm going figure skating.", meaning that you're going to the rink to practice figure skating.

You wouldn't say, "I'm going boxing." or "I'm going to practice boxing.". Boxing has its own very special jargon. You'd say "I'm going to the gym to train."
