Letter Writing

GMAT waiver

Hello, everyone...
I need to write a GMAT waiver letter for my application to MSc Finance and related programs. I do not have time to take the exam...So please, review my letter..
Thank you .

Dear Admissions Committee,

Based on your guideline for a GRE or GMAT test, I request that you waive the GMAT requirement for my admission into the Master of Arts in Business and Economics program at the University of XXX.
Here are my reasons for the GRE or GMAT test waiver:
- In high school I graduated with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as my majors. In 2008, I took the university entrance exam that everyone must take in Russia and I was in the top 250 people among 35 000 people. This score helped me get accepted to a very selective Bachelor program in major of Logistics of XXX University.
- The four years of engineering program equipped me with the skills I need to succeed in Finance. As an engineering undergraduate I primarily concentrated on getting a solid background in Logistics, Mathematics and Management. I have always enjoyed and been strong in areas that require problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills. My mathematical skills come from courses such as Mathematics, Decision theory and Statistics. I obtained a GPA of 3.83 out of 4.
- After finishing my Bachelor’s degree, I went to study Finance at XXX University and received the Master’s degree in Economics. Through the program, I not only made a systematic study of principle of economics, but also learnt the economical analytical methods to public policy, such as Game Theory and Taxation theory and principles. Motivated to learn more, I took courses in Accounting and Taxation in Russia. Besides, during my study, I had nine weeks internship in one of the largest banks in Russia.
With my academic background, I am confident that I am qualified and able to perform well in this program. I would appreciate it if you could accept my request.

Sincerely yours,
XXX
