glue or adhesive
Hi! I'm net to this forum. I would like to ask what is the difference between glue and adhesive. I know their meanings and I know they're both nouns. But why people sometimes use the term "glue" and sometimes the term "adhesive"? Can someone please explain? Thank you in advance. :-)

I am not sure but I hope I can help you The difference between glue and adhesive is merely technical, if not trivial. Most people use the terms interchangeably. However,adhesives are based on synthetic products(most important difference).

GLUE & ADHESIVE DIFFERENCE :
Well said,Yes exactly ...
What ever coming from natural sources like Animal glue,Starch,dextrin etc, should be called as Glue.
Where as chemically made by reaction like Polyvinyl acetate,Ethylene vinyl acetate based,Hotmelt,Poly urethane,Epoxy,Cyano acrylate etc,.should be called as Adhesive.
