All countries must strive to achieve 50 percent reduction in fossil fuel consumption if we want the reverse the effects of global warming. At the current carbon emission rates, our world will die by 2050. For example, the ice caps in the north south poles would all be melted and many places around the world especially shore areas which are heavily populated would be underwater. Millions, if not billions of people would die and the size of land would decrease by 30 percent. Some countries would be wiped off the face of Earth. We must act now before it's too late.
