Glisten

Glisten means 'to shine' or 'look wet.'

I was watching a video where a boy asked a girl to glisten him and she flicked water at him. They were posing for instagram pictures and they wanted to look sweaty after a workout. (They didn't actually do any exercises.)

Could 'glisten' be used in that context as well? (to flick drops of water at someone)

Thank you.

I have never heard of "glisten" being used transitively, and I can't find this sense in any dictionary.
