glasses steamy

Could glasses be described as steamy?

My glasses were steamy and couldn't see anything.

Thanks

Yes, but as written, the sentence means that your glasses couldn’t see anything, not you. Also, I would use a more appropriate conjunction. My classes were steamy, so I couldn’t see anything.

I usually say and hear 'My glasses were steamed up . . . '
