Glasses, how to express this?

Could you tell me how you would express these 2 sentences please?
I don't understand why he wears glasses. He wears his glasses so low that he doesn't look through them. His eyes are above them.

His eyes look so big through the lenses glasses.

Thanks

You have expressed the first situation correctly. I wear reading glasses perched on the end of my nose so that when I look up at the TV set I don't have to move my glasses. '
