That's fine grammatically. If there were no lenses, I'd use 'frames' rather than 'glasses'.

It doesn't make sense to me even though I say it. In my mind it's wrong and I should've used:

I have a pair of frames that need lenses. Instead, I say:

I have a pair of frames that I need lenses for.

It's not wrong?

If you agree

-My pair of glasses is/are lost.

are both correct, can I say both?

-I don't have my pair of glasses on; where is it/are they?
