Hi, what does it mean?

"I'll give you the goods on Walt, Glasses Face."

It's about someone funeral,
and his son said this to the girl who want to help his brother for the eulogy.

I think this is "goods on wait"

I was on board the Cutty Sark yesterday and I think the idiom dates from that time (1880s)

Ships that were sailing abroad would offer delivery of items for wait. That meant that it was a one-off thing and they would deliver it - much later - at the required harbour, for someone to pick up

I could be wrong, but I think y

No, I take that all back. I misread "Walt" as "wait". Walt, I assume, is the man whose funeral it is

To "get the goods on someone" does date from around that time but it means to retrieve and identify stolen goods that prove the guilt of the thief

- I'll give you the goods on Walt
(= I have evidence that shows that Walt was guilty of some bad things)

I believe Walt is the name of the man who died. The girl presumably asked Walt's son for information about Walt, and the son is going to give the girl a lot of details, perhaps sordid, about Walt and his life.
