Giving examples

Hello, I have to thank the guys who answered my last question posted here, you have given many valuable details.

Some of my classmates are tired of using "for example" or "for instance" to throw out examples to illustrate their points in writing essay, but I can't think of any other similar and natural ways or device to achieve this purpose.

Could you please give me any ideas? Emotion: smile Thanks.

There's "such as", "among others"... Or "that is", when you want to explain things (same as "i. " - in extenso-, Latin) I'm sure other members will find more possibilities!
