Giving directions

Hello

When telling the way to a pedestrian I usually use terms like

A) ...turn left into/onto Lanthorne Road...

B) ...take the second turning to the left...

But what about

C) ...turn to the left into Lanthorne Road...

You often find this phrase on German websites in the "How to get here" section.

To me it sounds a little odd because I don't combine this "order" with walking, but more with standing and turning my body, like in: Turn to the left and you'll see the park.
