Giving an address

Hi everyone,first of all I'm not a native English speaker so please excuse if I'm not acurate in what I'm trying to explain

Well, my concern is about giving an address, I'm wondering if anyone knows any web site or something where I can see all the abbreviations and its meanings when giving an addres, example: ave. = avenue, etc.
