Give someone up/ Give up someone

Hi

I have the following two sentences:

I won't give my brother up to anyone.
I won't give up my brother to anyone.

1. Are these two sentences grammatically correct?
2. Do they both mean the same thing?
3. I 'm looking for the sentence which means - I'm gonna support my brother no matter what anyone says. Do either of the above two sentences mean this? If not, please give me a sentence with an appropriate idiom which does.

Thank you
