Is there such a usage as "give somebody a drive"? I know there is something like "give somebody a lift/ride" when expressing this meaning. Please kindly explain. Thanks! Better to give an example.^_^

eg If you want to go downtown tomorrow, I'll give you a drive.

Wow! Canada really is a foreign country, isn't it? In the U.S., we give someone a lift or a ride, but not a drive. I've never heard it used that way.
