Humans have done several bad things towards the nature, in which the environment and animals are the most severely affected. Therefore, Steve Cutts have made a video to help us know how we have destroyed our planet and prompt everyone to think of the future.
Humans have caused many negative impacts on the environment. We have created soil, water and air pollution. In the video, the man dumped several toxic barrels and trash into the ocean. Afterwards, the sea water became extremely polluted. This reflects what humans have done so far. For instance, about one ton of oil are leaked for every one million tons are transported, and there are million pieces of trash floating in the ocean. Though Steve did not mention about air pollution, but we can deduce that it is also badly contaminated. In Beijing, as recent research, thousands people die every day because of exhaust fumes from thermoelectric plants, and a third polluted air in California derive from China.
Animals also have to suffer greatly because of humans irresponsible actions. In the video, the man killed the mother bear just for fun, and chopped off her head to make a monument. The baby bear was then captured for later entertainment. That scene realistically depicts how inhumane and non-sense humans’ actions are. Such activities have pushed various species to the brink of extinction. For instance, the number of the rhinoceros is able to count on one hand at the moment because people hunt them to take their horns to raise their societal status. Furthermore, scientists have carried out brutal experiments on animals. Given that science, thanks to that, have greatly advanced, the benefits cannot justify the suffering caused.
In conclusion, the Steve Cutts has set alarm bells ringing on our actions towards the nature. Should we not take the problem into consideration, our future will be dyed pitch-black as the end of the video infers, where only landfills are left and one last standing creature, us./
