Toys that a kitten might enjoy playing with?

It doesn't mean anything except "things for cats" or "things typical of cats" or maybe "things decorated with representations of cats." Could you possibly give us some context? Was this said in a pet shop? A gift shop? An interpretive dance lesson? And what did the person in the movie do in response to this request????

You probably won’t hear the phrase used this way again; it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing. It was a photo shoot, and the photographer was telling the model to pretend to be a cat for the camera by meowing and making a claw-shaped hand, as you must have noticed when you watched the scene.
